Now; there are a couple of changes. (1) the price has gone down on these smaller bars. (2) because of the price change, the Ten-for-$56 listing has temporarily been taken offline until all the soaps are represented in the new size and price - when that listing returns, it will be at a new price that represents the new bars. Thanks, y'all!

Yarn: HaldeCraft HandDyed Vonda (a discontinued yarn) in Peacock Pattern: Kaiso by Judy Sumner Started: September 1, 2014 Completed: September 30, 2014 Notes: These socks were doomed from the start. They started off as a different pattern and it totally kicked my behind; but because these were my September 12-in-14 project, …

Well, last week was actually a working-mostly-behind-the-scenes type of week, so while I was able to catch up on a lot of things, it makes for pretty boring daily photos! Here’s how I spent a couple of days; sitting at the table in the living room, going over my notes …

I think I have a plan(ner)

Lorena October 24, 2014 My Random Life3 Comments

Most of you probably know how much I love a planner. A system. A tool for to-do lists and things to remember and generally an off-site back-up brain storage unit. And I’ve tried everything from scraps of paper to small spiral note pads in my purse to the Franklin system …

I feel so sociable!

Lorena October 23, 2014 My Random Life2 Comments

Did I tell you I took off from work not one but TWO weekends? I KNOW. Who am I?! OK, so one of those weekends was the Florida Fiber-In, and it was work related, BUT STILL. Rhea and I went to the Florida Fiber-In, which of course was a ton …

This week I feel I’m more “waiting” than “working.” Waiting to hear from the bank about the new HaldeCraft World Headquarters that we’re trying to buy. Waiting to hear back from craft show applications. Waiting to hear back from Best Buy about my computer with a fried hard drive. I …

Sometimes being the boss is hard

Lorena October 20, 2014 HaldeCraft5 Comments

Now is the time on Sprockets where we talk about three decisions I need to make for my business, but I don’t know which road to take for any of them; or, rather, I probably do, but need to process by writing. Internal HaldeCraft neep ahead. Really long. Skip this, …

September 2014 Yarn Club: Kissed by Fire

Lorena October 20, 2014 YarnLeave a comment

October’s yarn is in the mail, and starting to arrive at its destinations. That means I can tell you about last month’s yarn! September’s club colorway was Kissed by Fire, and I think you can guess that this is inspired by Game of Thrones (unless you know nothing, Jon Snow). …
