Have I posted this already? Here, I mean? Y’all, I am LOSING MY MIND. I have a list of videos, and what stage I’m at on them, and where I’ve posted them, but every time I think I’ve got the list right, I confuse myself. Like, if I’ve checked off “posted on socials” do I mean just Facebook and Instagram, where I can post for both at the same time? Or do I also mean TikTok, that I forget about half the time? I also post to YouTube, but Widescreen, not Portrait, so that I can also write a post about them here on Snarkland, which will automagically send a link out to Mastodon, Threads, Bluesky, and even Tumblr (do people still use Tumblr? I have no idea what my password is over there so I am NOT looking forward to the day that my blog loses touch with it and I have to log back in, haha).
Sigh. Do other small business owners who do this – not necessarily pottery, but creative endeavors – spend at least as much, if not MORE, time working on promoting their business as they do actually making the things their business is built on?
ANYWAY. Enjoy some videos!
The first one (above) is making square plates. I’m not 100% sure what I was thinking, but I filmed making the squares, and then (below) I filmed making the triangle plates, but then (the third video) when I went to do the glazing, I glazed them both together. So that’s why I’m kind of calling this a trio of videos!
