Help me, I’m buried in email

Oh, Gmail. You might have thought it was helpful to start dividing into five tabbed categories, but really, that just gives me five times as many lost things that I can’t find or answer. Ten, if you count both work and personal email.

Have I not gotten back to you? I don’t hate you. I just can’t find your email.

    1. I swear they did it just to drive us mad. I could probably deal with it better if when you clicked on a tab but didn’t open any of the emails, you’d still have a bold number or something to draw your attention to it when you’ve clicked away… as it is, if I don’t have time to read the emails right then and go back to the main inbox, I forget there was even anything in the other tab after about five minutes. I need that reminder, Gmail! Sigh.
