Oh, Gmail. You might have thought it was helpful to start dividing into five tabbed categories, but really, that just gives me five times as many lost things that I can’t find or answer. Ten, if you count both work and personal email.
Have I not gotten back to you? I don’t hate you. I just can’t find your email.
I am not a fan of the tabs either.
I swear they did it just to drive us mad. I could probably deal with it better if when you clicked on a tab but didn’t open any of the emails, you’d still have a bold number or something to draw your attention to it when you’ve clicked away… as it is, if I don’t have time to read the emails right then and go back to the main inbox, I forget there was even anything in the other tab after about five minutes. I need that reminder, Gmail! Sigh.
