Group crafting

Another thing I’ve been doing a lot of lately is social crafting.

You probably already know (if you’re playing along at home) that we resurrected the Thursday Night group (henceforth called “Wayward Stitches” because I needed a name last minute to post somewhere and that’s the first/best suggestion I got). Ginger and Jane have started a last-Saturday-of-the-month communal crafting group, and my friend Cindy has recently started up a Tuesday night Stitch ‘n’ Bitch. I don’t know how long I can keep up with two craft groups in a week (I did that for about a year and got kind of burnt out… although that may have been that one of the groups was meeting in the middle of the afternoon, and it’s really hard for me to stop working and be somewhere in the middle of the day, some days) but right now I’m loving it. It’s great to see friends I haven’t seen in a while, and also a few new faces. I am feeling not nearly quite so feral now as I felt earlier in the year when I was never leaving the house!
