Oh, for.... I had this whole long post written about what I've been doing behind the scenes and Insta wouldn't let me post it, and also wouldn't let me go back to see if something could be edited, and I really don't want to write all that again. So. Readers Digest Condensed Version: home renovations, snuggle tax from pets for being gone so long, and still cleaning my studio. But I'll be back to work posting soon, when I have something to show off.

Good morning, friendos! I had fully planned to hop right back into work today, but I have to be honest..... I am just not feeling it. So instead I'm going to take a long weekend and clean up this Federal Disaster Area I call an office and studio. I'll be around to answer questions and mail out packages so reach out if you want - other than that, I'll be back to posting on Monday!

Through random chance, Jenn's flight out of Dublin

Through random chance, Jenn's flight out of Dublin was an hour before my flight out of Dublin. So she came and stayed at the B&B where I'd gotten a room, and we went out for dinner and walked around Swords (it's a small village just on the outskirts of Dublin, about five minutes from the airport). I would not only 100% stay at the Rose Cottage again, but I'd stay in Swords for a couple of days so I could see more of that castle!

In Belfast, I went to the Ulster Museum. It is the largest museum in Northern Ireland, and it has everything from art, ethnography, local history (it has a whole display on The Troubles), and science. It's almost like all of the Smithsonian shoved into one building, haha. I was there for hours and I'm not even 100% sure I saw the whole thing! Here are some of my favorite things that I saw, though.

One of the last two things I did in Belfast was visit the Royal Botanic Garden. Y'all know how much I love me a garden! Let me tell you... this one really, really made me want to have a greenhouse. Not so I could keep things warm - that's not really a problem in Florida - but because maybe with one, I could keep things cool. I love bulbs so much, but it rarely gets cold enough here to do them! Not unless you dig them up every year and store the bulb in the freezer, and who has room for that?!
