From wild birds like eagles, hawks, crows, and rav From wild birds like eagles, hawks, crows, and ravens, to slightly more domesticated birds like parrots, cockatiels, and parakeets... you feel a connection. Now you can carry that connection over into your hand-crafting, with these feather stitch markers. You can find the blue ones here (https://www.haldecraft.com/products/feather-stitch-marker-set-in-blue) and the red ones here (https://www.haldecraft.com/products/feather-stitch-marker-set-in-red). Thanks, y'all!
Oh, hey! It's Wednesday! I got my second Covid sho Oh, hey! It's Wednesday! I got my second Covid shot yesterday and am feeling... disgustingly fine. A really sore arm and that's it. I almost feel ripped off, I was really expecting to get sick this time! With only one kidney and being allergic to everything, I honestly was expecting more of an E-ticket ride. ANYWAY. What's going on in the studio? Ceramics, of course. I'm testing, playing, with the idea of showing all of these new things off at GLAM in a few weeks, and judging the reaction to them then. I'm also trying to find time to wind yarn and wrap soap, but y'all, the lure of the handbuilding...! It's hard to resist! Tell me about yourself. How's your week going? What are you working on? Reading anything good? Watching anything you can't wait to talk about?

Also thinking about making some more of these, now Also thinking about making some more of these, now that I have a line on some macrame holders. What is it, you ask? So, my grandmother, who taught me slipcasting, was into dolls for a time, and this is an upside-down dress. She had about five different dress/skirt molds, and a selection of bodies, heads, and arms, so you could really mix and match as far as what you wanted your girl to look like. Then she would both paint the skirt, and sew some lacy things to add to it, making it even that much more unique. Then I come along and am like, dolls? Turn that thing upside down and you've got an awesome hanging planter! Uhm, can you tell I'm a little obsessed with hanging planters at the moment....?
