Who wants to look at my vacation photos?

I know. There’s nothing more boring, right? Well… some of my friends might find some of them interesting. And I have been posting a few, a handful at a time, over on Instagram. But these are the large albums. Here’s what I have so far; I’ve made them as Google Photos albums, which was the best way I could figure out how to share pictures to both my Facebook and non-Facebook friends at the same time. Time has been more scarce than I thought it would be, so I’ll get back to blogging about each day when I can… but meanwhile, here are the albums. Consider them a teaser for blog posts….? And I still have two and a half more weeks here…..!

Flying to Ireland (photos from the trip, getting here)

Around Dublin (these are the photos that don’t really belong anywhere else. Things I saw in the streets, or at the B&B where I was staying, that sort of thing)

The National Botanic Garden (the first place I went, after dropping off my bags at the B&B for them to store them until check-in time, a few hours later)

The Glasnevin Cemetery (the second place I went, because, cemetery)

The Dublin Zoo (I knew this would be fun but I didn’t know it would be so big and so fun that I’d spend the whole day there!)

Dublin Castle (went there on a whim)

The Chapel at the Dublin Castle (I made a separate album for this because it seemed like just such a special place. The craftsmanship was outstanding!)

Christ Church Cathedral (also on a whim; my taxi driver that day told me to look for it as I was walking to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It was raining, so I went in, and it was so amazing that I spent hours there and decided not to go to St. Patrick’s!

Parks in Dublin (I walked around and went to three different parks. If I’d gotten to it before it closed, there would have been a fourth!

That’s it so far. I’m writing this on the train from Dublin to Wexford, where I will start having adventures again (after about a day of sleep….)!

  1. The one of the houses/shops in the archway with reflections in the water reminds me of the Fells Point postcard…
