My forged and welded Sandhill crane! I did decide My forged and welded Sandhill crane! I did decide to paint it, since it's metal and would be outside - it took me a few weeks to actually get paint, and then a few weeks to actually get around to painting, but I did it last week. I'll show off the finished one tomorrow! Overall this class was hella fun. I don't believe she teaches over the summer (it's just too hot in Florida) but keep an eye out for classes by @leslietharpdesigns for blacksmithing and welding!

Hey, all! I'm still taking a little time off work Hey, all! I'm still taking a little time off work - out of town and out of country family is visiting so my focus is on them right now. So instead of work things, let me tell you this week about this awesome two-day class I took a couple of months ago! It was a combo blacksmithing and welding class, with Day One being forging the parts of a Sandhill Crane, and Day Two being welding all the parts together. Here I am, forging the body of the crane. Stay tuned for more....!
