Limited Edition Soap: Oak Leaves & Acorns

Once a month, a limited edition soap is released. Sometimes it’s to test out a fragrance and get feedback. Sometimes it’s because I was sent a tester fragrance sample and am curious about how it works up. Sometimes it’s because people have asked for a type of thing and we want to see if we got it right before releasing it. Sometimes it’s just to try something new and have some fun!

February’s soap is Oak Leaves and Acorns.

Wild violets, rustic pine… if you like woods and flowers, fields and forests, if you like walking through the edge of a forest at night and breathing deeply of the rich fragrance of the wildflowers on the other side of the path… this light fragrance is for you.

Approximate Width: 2.5 inches
Approximate Weight: 5 ounces

The base of this soap has a creamy, custard color to it; but some fragrances – especially those containing vanilla – can cause the soap to darken to a tan or even a dark brown. I try to wait until this begins to happen to photograph the soap so that you are aware of what you are getting; however, it does get darker over time so your soap, upon arrival, may be darker than photographed.
