About four weeks ago, I mailed out the third and final round in the Summer 2017 Yarn Club…
The theme this time around is inspired by beloved pets, and this month is inspired by brindle dogs. Almost everyone who has had dogs, has had a brindle one at some point in their life.
Brindle dogs are beautiful dappled browns reminiscent of a forest floor; with flecks of dark browns that are almost black (or dark browns with flecks of lighter, almost golden brown, if they are reverse brindles). Hopefully, if you’ve had a Brindle, this yarn will do your beloved pet justice.
If you chose sock weight, the yarn was Andre; an 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon yarn that gets 6-8 stitches per inch on a US 0-2 and comes in 400-yard, 100-gram put-ups.
If you chose worsted weight, the yarn was Tepper; a 100% Superwash Merino yarn that gets 4-5 stitches per inch on a US 6-9 and comes in 218-yard, 100-gram put-ups.

Spots in the next round of club are still open for two more weeks (or until sold out); the inspiration for the Sept-Nov round will be classical art and artists. You can read more about it here.
