Not a recent photo, but still one of my favorites –
Aunt Gay and Uncle Joe are safely out of the wild snow of Boston, and back home in Gainesville. This year the semester was bitter-sweet; they’d decided to retire after thirty years of moving back and forth twice a year. Uncle Joe is looking forward to being a full-time writer again, and Aunt Gay is looking forward to rediscovering the things that are in her house. I’m looking forward to having them around probably no more often than before, because I’m certain they’ll fill up this newly found four months with travel, har har! I mean, have you MET them? I don’t think they can stay in one place longer than ten days, it gives them hives. Look at those two merry pranksters; just look at them.
