I can’t believe I wanted to end my vacation

In which I die of cuteThere’s nothing like a day with a lot of explosions in it to make you think “seriously, why did I want that vacation to end?!” – but all’s well that ends well, or so the saying goes. One problem isn’t technically ended yet, and I have my suspicions that the USPS is out to get me because I’ve had three broken pieces returned in about the last five weeks. That may not sound like a lot, but considering I’ve only had, maybe, five broken pieces in the last year? Three at once is giving me a tic over my left eye. Blargh.

Anyway, check out this freaking adorable Christmas ornament mold I picked up in December. I didn’t even try to make any for 2012, I knew I wouldn’t have time. The twee-ness freaking kills me. Of course I’m probably going to break them trying to clean them, but… still. THE CUTENESS. (Hand included in photo for scale; each one is about two inches across.)

Well. Alriiiiighty then. I thought I had more to say, but, guess I don’t! Off for more coffee, and to get a coat of glaze on some ceramics I’d like to fire on Thursday!
