Wistful Beeswax

Wistful Beeswax

Yarn: Briar Rose Wistful and HaldeCraft HandDyed in “None of your Beeswax”

Pattern: Mostly the EZ percentage system for a pullover, but also a few touches made up as I went along (like a picot bindoff, double rolled collar, hemmed sleeves and bottom.

Notes: I wanted something that looked like a t-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt, and am pretty sure I got what I was aiming for!

This is such a super sweater. Love the style & color combination. I wish you would write out the pattern so I could buy it and make it. I know how busy you are, but do consider this.

I meant to mention it in my comment on the other post, but this sweater is GORGEOUS! I thought it was so clever the way you created the layered look. And as I said on Saturday, that mustard yellow color always makes me swoon. Congrats on such an awesome sweater!

  3. Thanks, everyone, for your comments on this! I love that I had an idea I thought would be awesome but wasn’t sure how it would turn out, and everyone has just had the nicest things to say about it.

Mostly it’s a sweater knit to my size for my gauge, so I’d feel weird writing it up, but I may do a tutorial on it or something. It really was more of a recipe than a full-on pattern, so maybe by just talking about what I did to make it, I can inspire someone to do the same. 🙂
