Thanks for the Caprese, Pinterest!

I’m not much of a cook, but when I saw this photo on Pinterest, I thought… “how hard can that be?”… and the answer is not hard. Not hard at all. I followed the link to bee in our bonnet, where she wrote about how to make it, and my first thought was that yeah; even I could do that, and I don’t cook really much of anything that doesn’t come out of a box.

So I got cherry tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, and toothpicks… stood over a plate for about ten minutes, and came up with…

It was so good that I made it for about the next six weeks in a row, too, and in looking at that photo I think I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow. NOM NOM NOM.
