Renewal and regrowth
Remember earlier this year, when we had to tear down everything up against the house? And I was livid/upset/distressed about the loss of the only rose I’ve ever been able to keep alive?
I think I may have mentioned in passing that it turned out that while the poor thing got cut down to the ground, it wasn’t completely uprooted like I thought it was. It’s blooming more than it has in years, teaching my bitter self a little life lesson there about how we shouldn’t judge the things that happen to us until we have a little space and time away to gain perspective.
Nature finds a way.

Good point, Alice. Wonderful story with a happy ending, Lore, and a nice bit of philosophy, as well. Good to see your rose blooming so beautifully!
