(Odd; I could have sworn I took one every day that year, but even in admitting to a 10% slackitude, and maybe another 10% that were utter crap and so I didn’t upload them… there’s only 58…?)
Friday Photo: Green Man, with frog

So I mentioned the other day that I’m doing a Photo-of-the-Day thing again (you can see them here); so instead of a new photo every Friday now I’m going to choose one of my favorites from the last week of daily photos.
From a technical point of view I like the one I took yesterday of storm clouds coming in better than this one; but the reason this one is winning out is because of the frog hanging out in the Green Man’s mouth.

I was on my other computer, trying to find some older photos, and I came across my old Photo-of-the-Day archives. Since the old site no longer exists, I thought about adding them to Flickr… and in looking for the originals so that they’re better quality, it kind of made me miss taking those photos. Some of them were terrible, but some were very pretty and I think they made me a better photographer. And I also started thinking that… as much as I love what I do, I really need some – one – aspect of my life that doesn’t have anything to do with yarn. So I think I’m going to do it again.
