Soapalicious
For lack of anything else to post about*, here’s most of the soap I made this last weekend--
It’s all done with a Goat’s Milk base, since that’s all I had left from a previous soap-making purchase; some have exfoliants and some do not, and the scents are Strawberry, Feliz Navidad, Brown Sugar Snaps, and Sandalwood. Mmmmmmmmmm!
*Other than I am knitting myself into tendinitis trying to finish something up by this weekend, and I’m sure that all of you want posts like, “I got another inch done!” and “I just had to rip out two inches, frelling shoot me!”

Brown sugar spiced pumpkin brings me the happy
I wasn’t planning on making soap this weekend, but I got my holiday preparation order in from Brambleberry and I just couldn’t resist mixing up a batch of Shea Butter soap with brown sugar and spiced pumpkin scent.
I swear, I could just eat this soap. Even Tim likes the smell (although it’s making him hungry) and since he usually refers to my candles and soap as “stinky stuff” that’s a high compliment!
Sadly, I forgot to order bags when I placed my order (oh drat; I have to place another order!) which means the soap is making the kitchen smell… well, like a brown sugar spiced pumpkin.
Must. Not. Eat. The soap.

How to make soap
...in five easy steps…
Step one: you should be able to buy a blocks of glycerin or another soap base at your local craft store. However, I highly, *highly* recommend Brambleberry for soap making supplies of all kinds. Cut the block into smaller pieces, because they will melt more quickly that way. Soap bases cut very easily, much more easily than wax, if you’ve ever tried candles.
