How to clean ceramics

The second step in making your own ceramics

The first thing you need is a good selection of tools. The photo above contains a small wheel, my two favorite cleaning tools, a scrubbie, and two sponges on sticks. Other variations of the above may work just fine for you.

How to pour ceramics

The first step in making your own ceramics

The first thing you want to do is clean your molds to make sure there is no dust, cobwebs, or flakes of dried slip inside. Use a soft brush to do this. Plaster is easily scarred, so DO NOT use a hard brush. You can make minute scratches in the plaster that will show up on your ceramics.
