Bootie update

I haven’t posted about this yet, because I wanted to wait until I met the little fighter man in action. Our friends Sean and Marlo, who were the recipients of some of my baby-knits, had a little bit of a shocker three weeks ago when after dinner, Marlo went into labor seven weeks early and gave birth just under two hours later. Kieren decided that he was just done cooking and was ready to meet his parents! He also didn’t want to stay in the NICU for very long, because he was home after two weeks! Here he is last night, on his one week anniversary of coming home -

booties! in! action!

I have quite a number of photos (I’m such the auntie, I swear) but I’m about to be late for work so this is it for right now. He kicked the booties off after about 15 minutes (he is a stubborn one and wants things his way, as he’s proven). Meanwhile, though, can you stand the cuteness!?!?!?! Wait until you see the close-up of his tiny, tiny hands. He is happy, and healthy, and just a little wonder.

Welcome to the world, little man!

It’s a boy!

Introducing… Will William! Welcome to the world, little man!

Daisy has pictures up right now, run go look! I’d be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but if I had to it might be this one.

It’s a girl!

More friends having babies

Lilith Kylie Eagle; daughter of Michael “Skip” Sonesen and Lindsay Eagle. Born Friday, October 17th, 2003 (she was due on the 9th but decided to hang out for a while more); 8 pounds 10 ounces, and 22 inches long. Welcome to the world, sweet thing. You chose some damn fine parents to spend your time with here.

Photo coming soon!

It’s a girl!

Introducing.... Sarah Glen Weitz! Sarah arrived at 4:29pm 6/2/03.  Eight pounds 3 ounces, 20 1/2 inches.  Mom and baby are both doing well and everybody at work is just hap-hap-happy for Katherine and Andy. (And happy for Jake, too, though we hope he doesn’t get too jealous of his new little sister)

I'm not done yet!

Liana and Ariana

And now… I am proud to introduce… Heath and Laura’s daughters:  Liana Rachel and Ariana Frances! Ariana is the one on the left, with the curl. Liana is the one being shy, on the right.

I'm not done yet!

It’s a girl! And another girl!

Cats don’t understand it but it’s really hard to type with them on your lap. Especially when they are using one of your arms as a pillow. I know, move the cat, right? That’s what you’re saying? You must not be a cat person.

And having the cat on my lap makes it really hard to introduce to you Liana Rachel and Ariana Frances Rosenbaum, Heath and Laura’s little twin daughters. They made their appearance at about 5:45 and 6:00 yesterday evening. Mother and daughters are doing just fine, and daddy sounds so very, very proud. We’re going down to see them tonight, and if pictures are allowed then expect loads of them tomorrow!

It’s a boy!

The fact that I did my taxes last night and am getting money back totally pales in comparison to the fact that I get to introduce Charlie and Daisy’s .... well, here; in Charlie’s own words--

I'm not done yet!
