Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in “Edgewater”
Pattern: Pheasant Run Socks by Lisa Parker
Notes: How did I forget to blog about this? I finished it like six weeks ago. It’s a model for the shop, to inspire people to take a class.
Yarn: some mysterious superwash merino, gifted in a swap, I believe by Lara – and quite a while ago at that!
Pattern: Waves and Piers Socks by Charlene Schurch and Beth Parrott
Notes: Yay for knitting out of my stash!
Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in “Impressionist Sky”
Pattern: Celtic Braid Socks #157 by Lynda Gemmell
Notes: Made the cuff a little bit shorter as the recipient wanted shorter socks; also played around with the ribbing on the foot to keep my brain occupied for eleven million inches.
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpaca Sport Weight 100% Alpaca
Pattern: Modified from a headband pattern I made years ago (and many times since), Nakiska by Amy Swenson
Notes: I threw in different cables since I’ve made this pattern about six times. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great pattern (obviously since I’ve made it so many times) but sometimes I just like to change it up.
No; not the movie. Although I named it that because I knit the majority of it while at the movie. Did I mention 3D movies give me migraines? Yeah. Just found that out, at this movie.
Yarn: Mind’s Eye Yarns, from her sock club
Pattern: Gloria Cowl by Orinda5
Notes: I think I pretty much summed it up above the photo.
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpaca sport weight in “Currant”
Pattern: Gathered Pullover by Hana Jason
Notes: for a mostly stockinette project, this took a lot longer than I originally thought. But then, I did also start and finish three other smaller projects while working on this one…! If you’re on Ravelry you can read my notes; suffice to say that I used a yarn that did not get anywhere near the right gauge but thanks to my old frienemy MATH, it all worked out in the end. I absolutely love this pullover. LOVE! IT!
