A Day in the Life

Speaking of it being Tortoise Tuesday, how about these new mugs?! This was going to be the September mug, but since I was finishing Aug and Sept at the same time, and had a lot of people interested in the tortoise one, I decided to go ahead and switch them and release this one now. I only made six of them, and you can snag one here (https://www.haldecraft.com/collections/ceramics-functional-mugs/products/mug-of-the-month). Thanks, y'all! Tortoise Tuesday! This is a new guy (gal?) who moved into that big berm of dirt that is over near where That Poor Man built the fire pit. She/he dug a burrow on the other side of the mound of dirt, not facing the kiln shed but facing the forest. And so far this tortie is not at all interested in making friends! Well, with me. I've seen a lot of sniffing and head-bobbing going on outside of other burrows, though. Be honest.... y'all would go batty if I made Halloween soap this year, wouldn't you? Yarn Club is almost full, y'all! As I write this, I have two sock weight spots and four worsted weight spots still available. This picture is everything from the last round of club, inspired by pets. This next round is inspired by famous artists, and as much as the pet colorways pushed me out of my comfort zone of solid colors, the artist colors are going to be even more complex! I'm excited to start dyeing and can't wait for the yarn to get here! ... scenes from a work day.
