About a month ago I mailed out the 2nd installment of the Fall 2017 Yarn Club, and that means it’s time to show it off!
The theme this time around is inspired by famous art and artists, and this month is one that you all probably already know; Claude Monet’s “Waterlilies and Japanese Bridge”. You can see and read a little about it here.
This scene means a lot to me because it means a lot to my husband’s parents, who love the scene so much they built a replica of this bridge over the creek of their old house. But enough about me! I hope that you like the interplay of the greens and blues in this yarn, offset just a bit with pink and burgundy. This yarn has a lot going on!
If you chose sock weight, the yarn was Connie; an 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon yarn that gets 6-8 stitches per inch on a US 0-2 and comes in 435-yard, 100-gram put-ups.
If you chose worsted weight, the yarn was Beth; a 100% Superwash Merino yarn that gets 4-5 stitches per inch on a US 6-9 and comes in 225-yard, 115-gram put-ups.
Stay tuned… in about a month I’ll show off the third installment. Did you miss out on club? The next round is now open, and you can read about it here!
