It’s like looking into the sun

OK; so, the day I took this, I was also wrapping Christmas presents and madly painting and glazing the last of what I wanted to get fired in the kiln before Christmas, and who needs a picture of that, right?! And I felt I’d done enough cute cats-and-dogs-snuggling-together pictures in the last couple weeks, so I ran outside, took a picture of the sky, and lined up the sun, which happened to be coloring the tips of the pine needles the most lovely silvery green… and it was only later that day after I’d posted it that I realized that day was the Winter Solstice and thus totally appropriate for me to post a sun picture. EVERY MOVE IS CAREFULLY PLANNED.
