Old Dog is still hanging in there
She’s stiff and tottery when she first gets up from a nap, she frequently barks at either nothing or something that happened ten minutes ago when she was sleeping, she still falls off the dog bed and gets stuck in the corner, and screen doors confuse her…. but her appetite hasn’t changed one bit, and she’s started letting the other animals snuggle her again. She loves to be around Backup Dog, and will fuss and pace if she wakes up from a nap and Cori isn’t in the same room.
So in other words, it’s just a flesh wound. Come back; she’ll bite you in the kneecaps.
