A satisfying end to the series, in spite of both Esmay and Heris seeming a little interchangeable in parts of the story. Everything was wrapped up, everyone got what they deserved (be it a horrible end of a promotion and/or marriage). Even storylines that seemed to dangle got wrapped up (sorry, Petris) rather than continuing to seem like they were in the way.
