Easter Snowman
I got nuthin’ — here’s one from the archives!
Easter, 2002. Tim’s parent’s anniversary. My first visit up to meet them after Tim and I had started dating a few months before. There was just enough snow left on the ground for me to push some together into the world’s derpiest snowman!
My father had passed away just a few months before this; I still felt like I’d been hit by a bus every morning when I woke up. If I slept. A few weeks after we got home I had to get my 16-year-old dog, Heidi, put to sleep. But Tim’s family was warm, accepting, and fun, and I fell in love with all of them. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, as the man said.

What a good pic to post on a hot summer day! Lore, with your fresh appreciation of snow, you had us all excited about that which we had all tired of months before. We love having your fresh perspectives and enthusiasm in our fam!
