Tiny Kitten; "helping"Man, I had a whole paragraph written but there was a junky snippet of unfinished code when I aligned the photograph, and WordPress ate my paragraph. Pff. It was insightful and witty, too, but I’m too lazy to rewrite it. Sigh.

Here’s a photo of Tiny Kitten! Helping! Or rather, wondering if I’m going to perhaps wrap up some packages later and maybe leave the tape gun unattended so that she can snack on it.

Sigh.

Also? My desk is a mess. Maybe I’ll have time to clean it up in May, though. Tim’s going up to Chicago for training for about a week in May, and I can’t decide if I want to take the time off and have a complete mini alone-vacation, or since there won’t be anyone in the house I have to remember to interact with, work the shit out of  that week. I’m torn between both. The things I could get done! On the other hand, the quiet relaxing time! Choices, choices. I imagine I’ll play it by ear, figure it out when the time comes.

Cuckoo for meSpeaking of time, my mother gave me her cuckoo clock! It is from Germany, given to her by someone she hardly even knew (but who brought back three of them from having been stationed over there) and sometimes it strikes 13. WHICH IS AWESOME. She was all, “you can take that somewhere and get that fixed” and before I could even be all “why in the hell would I want to do THAT?!” Tim was laughing and shaking his head. AS IF. This morning, in fact, I noticed that at 7 AM he didn’t chirp. I went to check on him and the bird was stuck with the door open. I jiggled it a bit and he immediately crowed thirteen times. AWWWWWWW YEAH. That is just never going to get old. (And neither will the look of utter surprise on the cats faces every time it chirps. Tee hee hee.)
