Bork bork bork!

Funny story – about a week ago, I noticed that my laptop wasn’t always getting power. I started to have to wiggle the cord (close to that little magic black power box, not close to the laptop) in order to get any power. So yesterday I ordered a replacement power adapter doohickey… and it’s a good thing because today I’m not getting any power at all. Wheee! Of course I didn’t notice that until I’d had enough coffee and Facebook time, and at that point I was down to about 75%. I double-checked my order email, and the power cord isn’t going to ship until between the 21st and the 24th, putting it in my hands between the 25th and the 29th. So I’ll now be only using the laptop over the next week for emergencies (glad I finally figured out what the URL for the Control Panel here was!) and all that really means is that my email access will be even more atrocious than normal.
